Mit Hilfe einer Schatzkarte (kostenlos in der Information Längenfeld erhältlich) sowie einer Handy App erforscht man den Winkelberg welcher durch einen gewaltigen Bergsturz vor 10.000 Jahren entstanden ist. Kindgerecht wird auf mehreren Lehrtafeln die Geologie des Ötztals erklärt. Fast am Ende der Wanderung erreicht man den kleinen Winkelbergsee mit dem anschließenden Natur-Wasser- Spielplatz. Opening Hours: Today: 09:00 - 21:00A small natural water playground for children is hidden in the forest right next to the extremely quiet Winkelbergsee.The highlight after the exciting hike along the puzzle path (2 hours) or a short excursion directly to the water playground along the road in the direction of the Wurzbergalm (30 minutes). No matter which variant you choose, the playground is the perfect hiking destination for a summer day trip with the whole family.
You won't find Lobster and oysters on their menu - they serve freshly caught trout from their own fish pond, meat specialties from the region and genuine Tyrolean delicacies such as Kasspatzln, Kaiserschmarrn or hearty pork knuckle - prepared according to traditional recipes.
Opening Hours:The shooting range is located in the basement of the "Volksschule" in Längenfeld. You can find 8 Computer-controlled single spectator stands with screens in the local area. Modern indoor airpressure guns are available to all shooters free of charge. It's just allowed to shoot with these guns! Reservation necessary.
