The Sulztalalm is located at an altitude of 1,915 m. From the parking area in Gries the path leads through meadows to the "Vögelasbrücke" at first. Continue the path to Sulztalalm at a slight hikingtrail trough the forest. (Approx. 1,5 h walking time)
After a refreshment with good homemade meals you can continue the hike to Ambergerhütte. (1 h walking time)
The hut is located at an altitude of 2361 m.
Start: Gries/turning Winnebach, Walking time: 2 h
The hut: a quaint and cosy mountain hut with a friendly atmosphere. Wonderful location at Lake Winnebachsee, surrounded by mighty peaks, near an impressive waterfall. Great outing destination for families and hut hikers. In the summer great base for mountaineers, in the winter for ski mountaineers. Climbing garden in vicinity of the hut.
Crossings: Schweinfurter Hütte approx. 5 h, Westfalenhaus approx. 3 h, Amberger Hütte via Gries approx. 4 h or via Gaislehnscharte about 5 h (glacier experience!)
Peaks: Gänsekragen approx. 1.5 - 2 h, Hoher Seeblaskogel approx. 3 h.
With previous mountaineering experience and glacier equipment: Breiter Grieskogel approx. 3-4 h, Winnebacher Weißkogel approx. 3-4 h, Hohe Winnebachspitze approx. 3 h, Bachfallenkopf approx. 3 h (easy climbing in the upper part) (Alpine experience required).

The Wiesle (1,528 m) was mentioned as a Schweighof 450 years ago. If the small meadow stain was primarily used for agriculture for centuries, the Wiesle is now particularly popular with those seeking relaxation and day trippers. There are several ways to the idyllic spot, which many call the most beautiful in the Ötztal.

Away from the hustle and bustle of tourism in the Ötztal above Längenfeld - Gries is located, which is visited in winter by ski tourers and tobogganists and in summer by hikers.
From Gries you reach the Nisslalm after about 2 hours walking time.
Transition to Gamskogel, Hochgutegg and Schönrinnenkarsee.

On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the innkeepers offer an alpine breakfast by prior reservation.

After a leisurely hike over the suspension bridge, the Dorfstüberl in Burgstein offers a stop-over.
A large panoramic terrace invites to recharge your batteries and soak up the sun.
The Polles valley is the longest side valley of the Ötztal.
The Polles Alm is located at an altitude of 1.782m and is easily accessible in approx. 2 hours starting at the football ground in Huben. The first path leads through the „Ötztaler Sagenweg“ to the Feuerstein hut and further on an old very beautiful hiking trail up to the Polles hut.
Ideal for a family hike or for a mountain bike tour.
On Saturday and Sunday, the innkeepers offer an alpine breakfast by prior arrangement. From Monday to Friday (Wednesday closed) the alpine breakfast can be booked in advance for 6 or more people.
The hut is reachable with a bit of fitness but without much difficulty. Once at the top you can enjoy tyrolean dishes with a wonderful view. Due to its central location in the heart of the Ötztal Alps, countless peaks and mountain ranges can be conquered from here.

The Hausersee hut on the "Geigenkamm", named after his highest sumit, the "Hohe Geige" (3395 m), in the Ötztal Alps. The lake which is hardly warmer than 4 degrees in summer, lends his name to the house. The hut is a self-catering hut and is sheltered in summer by a "hutkeeper".
Starting point: from Umhausen - Köfels - Wurzbergalm - Stabelealm - Innerbergalm 4 h
Via Längenfeld - Hauertal 3.5 h

The hut is located at an altitude of 1575 m in a particularly quiet location. The Wurzbergalm has been in family ownership since its construction in 1959 - the friendly, family-like flair can be felt immediately when you stop by.
