In 2014 the Lehner waterfall via ferrata was extended with the left variant. The newer variant that turns left is a via ferrata highlight for advanced climbers. After an easy crossing, the first overhang has to be climbed in the highest degree of difficulty (E). This variant is not suitable for children. The original route, which turns right, is much easier than the newer variant, but still requires strength, surefootedness and alpine experience. With the original exit you can put your strength to the test with the short but difficult overhang. The overhang can be avoided on the left by a esear variant.
A hiking trail leads 50 meters above the exit to the rope bridge, so everyone can enjoy the highlight.
Trail length and time required
160 m of altitude gain; 250 m of rope length; 1.5 - 2 hours right ascent; 2.5 - 3 hours left ascent, with descent 3 - 3.5 hour
