The night trail is lit daily from 17:00 to 21:00. Thus, one also has the opportunity in the evening to practice cross-country skiing. From the parking lot at Sportzentrum Längenfeld it is only a short walk past the campsite, over the pedestrian bridge to the starting point. The very flat round leads at the beginning towards Oberried and in a big loop back to the starting point.

The approx 3 km long night trail offers you the possibility daily from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm the cross-country sport exercising. From the entrance to the campsite the short access leads first over the pedestrian bridge which spans the Ötztaler Ache. At the beginning the cross-country ski run leads in the direction of Oberried - then slightly uphill in a southerly direction to the Pestkapelle until the circuit at the bridge closes again.

Oberrieder Schleife (Skating - klassisch)

It is recommended to move daily in the fresh air. However, as time is scarce, we praise a round in the Oberriederschleife.With the approx. 2.5 km this is mastered in shortest time. Despite the short duration offers a magnificent view of snowy mountains and the Pestkapelle which was built in the 17th century on a hill.

The south cross-country ski run from Längenfeld to Huben is very popular with cross-country skiers as it leads across varied terrain. The start (near Camping Ötztal) is still in dense forest. However, this clears right away and the trail leads you past the thermal bath Aqua Dome in the direction of Astlehn / Runhof. There you cross the bridge and drive through snow-covered meadows, with wonderful views of the Ötztal mountains to Huben. At the southernmost point, the round takes a turn. The way back on the football field over to the district Mühl. From Runhof where the bridge was crossed again, the route now leads back along the Ötztaler Ache to the starting point.

The approximately 3.5 km long skating trail leads from Längenfeld over the hamlet of Dorf to Au and on the same way back.At the beginning of the trail runs along a short forest over fields to Oberrieder road, which is crossed. Next, the trail follows the right side of the Ache along an idyllic birch forest to the hamlet village Espan. Shortly before the end in Winklen / Au, a small slope has to be mastered.

The trail runs along a short piece of woodland over fields to Oberrieder Straße, which is crossed. Next, the trail follows the right side of the Ache along an idyllic birch forest to the hamlet village Espan. Shortly before the turn in Winklen / Au, a small climb to the bridge has to be mastered. Now the trail of the Ötztaler Ache travels back to Längenfeld - to the south. Almost at the end of the round you reach the Oberrieder loop which leads past the foot of the Pestkapelle back to the Camping Ötztal.

Loipe Au (Skating und klassisch)

The entrance to the trail is directly at the Hotel Bergwelt in the hamlet of Au. (northernmost hamlet of Längenfeld) At first you glide along the flat lane. From about half of the route to be laid back, the circuit leads alternately gently up and down over a pastureland back to the starting point. Due to the strong sunshine, this trail is often no longer passable in spring.

With its alpine ambience and its altitude of 1,600 m, the Gries high-altitude trail is a true cross-country attraction, especially for advanced runners. The trail leads from the parking lot at the end of Gries further into the valley into the Sulztal. Most of the time the round runs along the Fischbach. The highest point of the trail is reached at the Vogelasbrücke. After crossing the river, the track on the left side of the stream is always slightly downhill. Only after crossing again do you have to master the last meters of altitude around the river before you reach the starting point again

It leads once around the snow-sure village and allows beautiful views of the Sulztal. The entrance to the classic track is located at the parking lot at the end of Gries. At the beginning you drive further into the Sulztal. Most of the time the round runs along the Fischbach. The highest point of the trail is reached at the Vogelasbrücke. After crossing the river, the track on the left side of the stream is always slightly downhill. Only after crossing again you have to master the last meters in altitude around the place before you return to the starting point.
