The Polles valley is the longest side valley of the Ötztal.The Polles Alm is located at an altitude of 1.782m and is easily accessible in approx. 2 hours starting at the football ground in Huben. The first path leads through the „Ötztaler Sagenweg“ to the Feuerstein hut and further on an old very beautiful hiking trail up to the Polles hut.Ideal for a family hike or for a mountain bike tour.On Saturday and Sunday, the innkeepers offer an alpine breakfast by prior arrangement. From Monday to Friday (Wednesday closed) the alpine breakfast can be booked in advance for 6 or more people.

The hut is reachable with a bit of fitness but without much difficulty. Once at the top you can enjoy tyrolean dishes with a wonderful view. The Wiesle (1,528 m) was already mentioned 450 years ago as the Schweighof. While the small patch of meadow was primarily used for agriculture for centuries, the Wiesle is now particularly popular with those looking for relaxation and day trippers.You can reach the hut via the prepared winter hiking trail from Niederthai (cross-country skiing centre).Warm meals, snacks, mostly own products or from local farmers.Hut evenings, small celebrations or simply a nice get-together in the evening can also be requested.
