The parish church of St. Martin in Huben was built instead of a baroque church in 1805-31. Surrounded by the cemetery, the three-bay, simple hall building has been equipped with a high east tower in 1870. In 1816 ceiling paintings were added in the church and in 1820 a high altar.

To commemorate the founder of the Alpenverein, Pastor Franz Senn, a memorial was erected near the parish church.The birthplace of Franz Senn and the Franz Senn Memorial Chapel are located in Unterlängenfeld and are also remind of the glacier priest.The Franz-Senn birth house can only be visited from the outside.

Mountains from a bird's eye perspectiveNot even a mighty eagle could make it to Lourdes on a single day! Even though hikers feel close to this unique pilgrimage site thanks to the small Lourdes Grotto and its statue of the Virgin Mary. You reach the chapel after conquering one third of the whole ascent. Without any effort walkers continue on the smooth forest trail leading to a giant golden eagle made of carved wood. The beautiful bird spreads out the wings covering almost 1.80 meters. You can climb the tree on a small staircase and watch the huge wings close-by. A kids‘ slide takes you down to earth again.The king of birds – enjoy yourself an Eagle‘s View from almost 1,400 m altitude. The church Pfarrkirche Hl. Katharina in Längenfeld was built in the 14th century and reconstructed in 1518 in late Gothic style. The main entrance features Gothic elements as well. Highest church tower in the entire Ötztal valley.

Picture-book idyll in the fairytale forestIt happened some 10,000 years ago. Still today hikers can marvel at the vast rockslide area in the surroundings of Köfels. The giant basin of Längenfeld was formed by huge amounts of water, rubble and ice. Its nearby rockslide forest is interspersed with enormous granite rocks and boulders. Can you feel the icy breath of air coming from deep inside the ravines and gorges? Of course, there is also a witch cave.Magic never ends in the Fairytale Forest. Soon you will reach jade-green Lake Winkelbergsee with the three little islands sparkling in the summer sun. A true natural gem, fed by crystal clear spring water. Slightly above little explorers find a small mountain brook and water play park with mill wheels. The Naturpark House in Längenfeld sees itself as an information hub and competence center for Ötztal nature. The exhibition in the Naturpark House shows the Ötztal biodiversity in all its facets in a unique way. Special Ötztal plants, animals and habitats are explained as well as the geology and the rockfalls. The permanently present topic of water in the Ötztal is also presented in all its facets - from glaciers to lakes, rivers and bogs.
